Saugeen 15 - Versatile symmetrical canoe

The smallest canoe in our line, the Saugeen 15 has been completely re-designed by Steve Killing. He added width for more stability and capacity, slight tumblehome for easier solo paddling, and gave the bottom moderate rocker to ensure maneuverability.

This is the perfect boat for day trips, portaging, one week canoe trips and fun at the cottage. A great all-round traditional canoe. This is a symmetrical hull shape, that is, the forward sections are a mirror image of the aft sections. Most traditionally shapes canoes are shaped in this fashion. For best performance any symmetrical canoe should be loaded a little stern down to aid in tracking.
